Taxora Digital Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") operates www.taxora.co.ke (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It's written to reflect what this Site actually does, not a generic template.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

Contact form submissions. When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, the service you're enquiring about, and your message. This is sent to our team by email and also saved to our database as a backup, so your enquiry isn't lost if the email delivery has an issue.

WhatsApp messages. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices in addition to ours. We only use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry.

Blog comments or accounts. This Site does not currently offer public blog comments or visitor account registration, so we don't collect information through those channels.

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across websites. It records aggregate information such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, without collecting any personal information that could identify you individually.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you've asked about; set up and support KRA eTIMS/TIMS integrations and KituBox products; send you information you've specifically requested, such as a quote or consultation follow-up; and improve this Site based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Contact form submissions are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. Blog content is stored the same way. Emails are delivered through Resend. This Site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Each of these providers has its own security practices and may process data outside Kenya as part of delivering their service to us.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of business communications, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your Rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act (2019), you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct inaccurate information, ask us to delete your information, and object to how we're using it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Cookies

This Site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics provider, Plausible, operates without cookies entirely, so there's no cookie consent banner because there's nothing to consent to.

Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
